Written From the Heart!

In collaboration with MiraCosta College, San Elijo, and the Cardiff 101 Farmers Market, Encinitas Friends of the Arts (EFA) will launch The Love Letter Project on February 14, 2026. This heartfelt community arts initiative celebrates love, creativity, and meaningful connection.

The Love Letter Project invites participants of all ages to reflect on themes of love, gratitude, expression, and communication by creating a handwritten love letter to share with someone special—either in person or through the mail. Debuting on Valentine’s Day, the project weaves together personal storytelling, visual art, and community engagement in a public celebration of love for place, people, and creative expression.

Through this initiative and related events and exhibitions, EFA continues its mission of nurturing cultural connectivity and amplifying local voices in the arts. Art supplies will be provided on site, making participation accessible and welcoming to all.
